Decided to spend a couple days in Old Orchard Beach as the middle of a long motorcycle ride. The hotel is at the farther end from the big strip with the bars and restaurants and such, making it a bit quieter, but also a longer walk 'into town'. The best thing about this place is the incredible access to the beach - from my budget room, it was about 150' to walk to the ocean. Also, being at the farther end, it is nice and quiet and relaxed. I did the cheapest 'economy' room, and it was worth it. There are no frills, but you have all the basics - nice comfy bed, TV, refrigerator, AC, and a very small bathroom. Everything was clean and well set. In front of the room was a nice little bench to sit on. Parking is a bit tight, but not bad. I splurged for the 'add-on' of two craft beers in an icy bucket upon check in... very nice idea! Service is pretty good, although the owner can come across as a bit 'grumpy'. Just ignore it and he will work with you if you have issues. Side note - the attached cafe serves AWESOME breakfast at very low prices!

The husband and I stayed for 3 days for our 20th Anniversary. The room, 204 was stunning, private and steps to the beach. Staff arranged for surprise flowers in the room and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Spent the days relaxing in the early sun shine and enjoyed our time Love it here and can’t say enough positive things about the owners and all their hardworking staff.

From the staff at the front desk to my beautiful and very clean room, all fantastic. I have not one bad thing to say. Just praise. I stayed in room 102, exactly as pictured and the VIEW! The beach was like 12 steps away. Slept with the window open to hear the waves crashing. The room was very clean and surpassed Covid standards. If I ever make it to Maine again, I would stay here... hands down!
